| Description | The Central Control Unit - Version 2 - is an updated version of the popular central hub of the HomeMatic system, used to manage, control, configure and monitor all the HomeMatic devices installed in a house. The simple operation on your PC is done via a modern and revised user interface (WebUI). Because of this new interface, the configuration, operation, and status inquiry of the HomeMatic devices is simple and easy to manage / store. Additional characteristics are: - Control, configuration and operation of all HomeMatic devices in the areas of heating and energy saving, access hardware, light and power, safety and weather; - Control and connection of wireless and wired components of the system, enabling communication between HomeMatic Wired devices and the CCU2 (when using the RS485 connector); - The PC software readily provides individual logic programs that can be inter-connected to perform complex control tasks; - The CCU V2 allows setting up direct links between HomeMatic devices, that can then work even without the use of the Centre; - High transmission range: up to 250 meters (outdoors); - Fully compatible with the existing CCU software, thus the import of Central Control Unit 1 backups is possible; - Radio interface, USB-Host/-Device, Ethernet 10/100 Mbit / s; - Direct use on IT transfer point (router), for wall mounting or table. New Features - Internal memory, expandable via microSD card, for applications such as integration of third-party software; - Easy replacement of devices and control centre even while the system is running, with automatic notification of the new or exchanged equipment; automatic backup and system reset for any possible exchange centre; - Multilingual user interface. Note: For a fast and easy Internet access to the HomeMatic CCU V2, we recommend the paid service "my-homematic.de". For customers with more advanced IT skills, the Internet access can also be achieved by using a DNS service and port forwarding (appropriate network knowledge required). To support the establishment of such a service, we provide you with the instruction "means NOIP & Port Forwarding", which will soon be available for download. |
