| Description | The Differential Temperature Sensor is used to monitor the temperature difference between the flow and the return pipes of your heating; it can also be used as a solar intensity sensor in solar water heating systems that use HomeMatic components. Its main characteristics are: - Wide temperature range measurement: from -30*C to +100*C; - Uses an IP-65 housing which allows it to be installed in damp areas; - When used in conjunction a HomeMatic Central Control Unit and a HomeMatic Wireless Switch, it can become part of a Virtual Heat Demand Relay used to swuct off your boiler if heat is not needed; - It is battery powered, which means it can be placed anywhere without needing to be close to a power supply; the batteries typically last for two years (on normal operation); - Batteries are provided. |
